Regina, Sherri and Debbie went to JP Coffee House in Lee's Summit this morning (9 December 2006) to introduce themselves and represent our group to Congressman Cleaver.

We informed Congressman Cleaver that the children with ASD are not getting their educational needs met in the district. We expressed our concerns of Missouri's ranking of being 48th in the nation with funds allocated to education. His liason took down some information and we in turn were given a contact of someone here in town we can try to communicate with.

We wrote letters expressing these concerns and then passed along a copy of our Groups information and our purpose.
